Meet Erica. Erica is one of Polk State College students reaching for her goals. Like many of our students, Erica was faced with difficult circumstances that led her on a different path. Today, Erica knows where she is going and she is doing so with the help of our donors! On #GivingTuesday, the Foundation premiered this video to express a heartfelt thanks to all of our donors and to share the power of philanthropy. #GivingTuesday was integrated in the Give the Gift of Education annual appeal. Our online #GivingTuesday efforts raised $2,375 for emergency scholarships. Additionally, the Give the Gift campaign has already raised $1,975 in mail in contributions.
