A memorial fund at Polk State College Foundation will allow family and friends to keep a loved one’s memory alive in perpetuity for the future educational needs of Polk State College students.
Many families have chosen Polk State College Foundation to honor their loved ones as a special way to carry on their legacy. Memorial scholarships can be awarded annually at any amount of a donor’s choosing, or can become endowed with a minimum cumulative donation. Scholarship donations at all levels help to pay tribute in a meaningful way by assisting Polk State College students to attain their dream of a higher education.

How do I establish a memorial fund to honor a loved one?
- Contact the Polk State College Foundation at 863.297.1071 to establish a memorial fund that will carry out your loved ones wishes.
- Think about and select the name of your memorial scholarship. The name of the scholarship can be used to direct gifts in the loved one’s obituary. For example, In lieu of flowers, please direct gifts to “ The Joe Smith Memorial Fund” at 999 Avenue H, Northeast, Winter Haven, FL 33881.”
